Ranges are the diurnal range (mean higher high water minus mean lower low water) from NOAA datums, available for 278 of the 524 stations. For contrast: Wainwright, on the Arctic coast, has a range of 0.5 ft — less than the wake off a skiff. The 2027 records are computed from a full year of NOAA predictions for 523 of the 524 stations.
