About these reports
Conditions come from the NOAA National Data Buoy Center's moored buoys, fetched live in your browser from NOAA CoastWatch ERDDAP, which republishes NDBC observations within minutes; the buoys themselves transmit about hourly. Each buoy's page shows when its latest report actually arrived — if a buoy goes quiet, its page says so instead of dressing up old numbers as current.
This list is the 22 moored weather buoys NDBC lists as active in Alaska waters, from the Bering Sea to Dixon Entrance. Tsunami (DART) buoys carry no weather sensors and shore stations are not buoys, so neither appears here. For navigation, always consult official NOAA sources.
